Faison Promotes Seasoned Professional Russ Whitworth in DC Office

Charlotte, NC — February 10, 2006  — Faison Enterprises is pleased to announce that Russell E. Whitworth has been named Managing Director/Residential and Commercial Development in the Washington, DC region.  Mr. Whitworth will continue to provide knowledgeable direction and facilitate teamwork and motivation for Faison’s operations.  Currently the D.C. group is responsible for approximately $200 million of development including The Whitman located on 9th and M Streets; Delancey Lofts located at 1700 Kalorama Road; Ventana located at 912 F. Street; Citadel located at 1600 Kalorama Road; and 1010 Mass Avenue all within the District of Columbia.

Mr. Whitworth joined Faison in 2004 and served as Development Project Manager for Post Properties. His career background includes work with some of the nation's top general contracting firms where he was directly responsible for over $800 million of construction volume. His development experience is diverse and extends to all types of commercial, residential and institutional projects across the country.
