Faison Adds Leasing Executive to Southeast Management Team
Atlanta - July 12, 2004 - Faison Enterprises, Inc. (www.faison.com) announces that Rob Morris has joined its Southeast Regional Office as director of retail leasing. In this role Morris will oversee the negotiation, structure and execution of all leases for Faison’s retail projects in the Southeast region, which includes Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
“Rob’s extensive relationships with prospective anchor tenants and experience in executing retail leases will help Faison continue to expand our portfolio in the Southeast,” said Mike Cohn, senior managing director of Faison’s Southeast region. “Rob will be instrumental in the leasing of our shopping centers currently under development, including our Target-anchored Kedron Village project in Peachtree City, Ga.”
Having leased well over one million square feet of retail space in his career, Morris has cultivated strong relationships and understands how to meet the needs of anchor, junior anchor and small shop tenants at the regional and national levels. Morris’ vast experience with the lease-up of power center developments provides him with a unique insight into the expansion plans of these retailers within the Southeastern markets. Prior to joining Faison, Morris worked with Cousins Properties’ Atlanta office where he was responsible for leasing within the company’s power center portfolio. Before that, Morris was director of development leasing for JDN Development Company. Morris earned a Bachelor of Arts from Clark University of Worcester, Mass. and a Masters of Education from Emory University in Atlanta.
